OUR STORY

Hermansdale Farm was founded in 1901 by Albert Herman when they came from Port Royal, Pennsylvania. The farm was passed on to Geroge Herman Sr. in 1918, where he farmed for many years before his son Dwayne started working for him and took over the farm in 1956.


Dwayne farmed with his brothers until his son Reginal started farming with him in 1986. Dwayne continued to help work on the farm until 2016.


Justin and George Herman moved back and started farming in 2011. We are a fifth generation farm.


We farm a variety of crops where each year where we raise:

  • Barley
  • Wheat Durum
  • Canola
  • Pinto Beans
  • Non-Genetically Modified Soybeans
  • Genetically Modified Soybeans
  • Corn
